Sometimes life gives us the opportunity to make something awesome, perhaps even inspiring, on the fly. Such was the case for Portland’s own Béisbol a few months ago when Google celebrated the Moog synthesizer with their interactive Moogle app. Béisbol woke up that morning (er … perhaps afternoon) to a new toy on their internet and did what they do — recorded a kick ass new song all in one sitting, entitled “Is It You?”.
Life gave us a similar opportunity this week, when the entire bill for the upcoming Sunday Session (8/19) canceled. We’ll get Pure Bathing Culture, White Hinterland, and Jeffrey Jerusalem in sometime soon, but this week we’re excited to welcome back to Rontoms a couple of our favorite locals Béisbol and Adventure Galley as well as new-kids-in-town, Minden, who make the kind of dance pop that is perfect for these summer nights.
